Legacy Recordings
From The Archives: Today we honor the memory of American music legend Pete Seeger, who died earlier this week at the age of 94. Pete recorded a dozen LPs for Columbia Records between 1961 and 1971, and our image from the Sony Music photo library today captures him during the recording of the album “God Bless The Grass” on June 21, 1965. The location is Columbia’s Studio A in New York, the same room where Pete’s pal Bob Dylan had recorded “Like A Rolling Stone” six days earlier.
